From America to Ayr…

Southern Ayr began with a simple idea: a deep love for Ayrshire and a wish to give something back.

Brian Daly is Ayrshire born but life eventually took him to America, where he built a career and met his wife, Tina, but Ayrshire was still a part of him. After many years away, Brian and Tina asked themselves how they could still contribute to the town they cared so much about. That answer became Southern Ayr.

They chose to invest in Ayr’s hospitality scene because they believe in its people, its potential, and the importance of keeping local venues alive for future generations. Southern Ayr has grown into a family of welcoming venues across the town, from hotels and restaurants to bars and community spaces, each with its own character, all built to bring people together.

For Brian and Tina, it has never just been about business. It’s about giving back, supporting local jobs, and helping Ayr thrive.
